About the Contest

The following provides a brief overview of the 2006 Gingerbread House Contest. In addition, please carefully review the detailed 2006 Gingerbread House Contest rules.

Submitting Entries

• Create a gingerbread house. All decorations used on the gingerbread house must be edible. Dimensions cannot exceed 12" x 12" x 12". The gingerbread house must: (I) be original; (II) be solely created by entrant; (III) not have been submitted in other contests or won previous awards; and (IV) not infringe the rights of any third party.
• Submit Your Entry. Beginning November 5, 2006 through December 23, 2006, visit this website to upload the scanned or digital photo of your gingerbread gouse into the Official Entry Form and submit the Official Entry Form with your Photo.

Weekly Winners and Prizes

Each week during the specified contest timeframe (see rules) there will be 3 winners (a single entry will not be eligible to win two prizes during a voting week):

• 2 People’s Choice Winners – Selected by the visitors who vote for their favorite entries at this web site. Each person may vote only once per day during the voting period. You can, however, get help from your friends and family by inviting them to vote on your entry (information is provided when you enter).
  • First Place People’s Choice Winner – The entry with the most votes at GingerBreadContest.com during the weekly contest will receive a Wilton Chocolate Fountain and 4 (four) bags of fountain melts (approximate retail value is $160 each).
  • Second Place People’s Choice Winner - The entry receiving the second most votes from the GingerBreadContest.com website visitors during the weekly contest will receive a Wilton Cupcakes 'N More™ Dessert Stand - Large and Ultimate 3-IN-1 Cake Caddy (approximate retail value: $60 each).
• 1 Wilton's Choice Winner – A qualified panel of Wilton judges will select an entry based upon the appearance (34%), creativity (33%), and use of decorations (33%). The Wilton's Choice winner will receive 101 Piece Tool Caddy Collection (approximate retail value: $130.00).
  

Grand Prize Winners

The Grand Prize Winner will be selected by a qualified panel of Wilton judges from among the 21 weekly winners based upon the appearance (34%), creativity (33%), and use of decorations (33%). The Grand Prize Winner will be notified on or about January 20, 2007.

The Grand Prize Winner will receive:
A 4-day, 3-night trip for four (4) to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Prize package includes :

• roundtrip economy coach airfare on an airline selected by Wilton from a commercial airport near winner’s residence;
• double occupancy hotel accommodations for 3 nights at a Wilton-selected Walt Disney Hotel;
• 4-day midsize car rental to licensed driver over 25;
• Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom theme park tickets for 2days;
• and $600 (US) spending money ;

Total approximate retail value: $7,540

The Grand Prize Runner-up will receive:
Odyssey Wooden Gym Play Center & Swing Set (ARV: $1000) (US). The playhouse will be delivered to the winner.
